Getty launches full text web site for art history research – latimes.com

The Getty Research Portal links to 20,000 titles, drawn from the Getty’s own holdings and from the libraries of eight partner institutions. Columbia University, the Frick Collection, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Art Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York are particpating, along with the INHA or National Institute of the History of Art in Paris, the University of Malaga and Heidelberg University. In all cases, the full texts of the books can be downloaded free of charge.
