If you're organising a history conference, workshop, seminar or similar event that will have a Twitter hashtag, you may want to archive the Twitter conversations for future reference and analysis. You should be aware that Twitter itself does not easily facilitate such archiving - tweets cannot be accessed through the Twitter search after about a week and the only way for most users to ensure tweets are saved is to capture them while the event is progress. Probably the easiest way to create a hashtag archive is by using the tools created by Martin Hawksey.
